Note that the event on November 28th is in a restaurant with a dance floor. As always, in any case that I reserve a table, we must reply EARLY and ACCURATELY to this event.
I know this is short notice, but this coming Saturday will be the Fifth Annual Guate- Gala, jointly presented by The Society for Third World Dental Care (Dentistry for All) in partnership with The Flying Doctors of Canada.
$40 in advance or $50 at the door includes Dinner, live band, Fashion Show, Dance performance and more. For ticket information contact: [address removed], Brad Krusky[masked], Latin Corner Dance Studio[masked]-3282.
Note that our meeting on December 9th is another joke night. Our last joke night was a tremendous success. It was very well attended. Most of our meetings last about an hour and a half. That meeting lasted about two and a half hours, that is, two and a half hours of rib-aching laughter. I'm hoping this coming joke night will be just as much fun. Please come prepared to tell a joke in Spanish, or, if you have no joke, come prepared to laugh.
Please vote in our polls.

I have started a discussion on our message board called "Students seeking teachers, teachers seeking students". Please read and post on this discussion.
For the past three years we have had the new tradition of every summer having the three topics of
sex, politics and religion. This has been a lot of fun, because
members enthusiastically participate, and there is much laughter and
near misses at fisticuffs.
This summer I completely forgot, so we started late.
In December, we will do religion, and our topic for the rest of November is Sex.
As I mentioned last year, this topic does not require us to reveal any personal facts, nor does it require that we be crude. There is a high road. We can discuss Anthopology and Sociology. We can discuss sweeping changes in North American society caused by Masters and Johnson's "Human
Sexual Response", The Kinsey Reports, and widened availability and acceptance of
contraception. We can discuss the effect on and by the women's movement. We can discuss AIDS and HIV.
On the other hand, if we want to spend the meetings telling dirty jokes, that's okay, too.
I am looking forward to seeing us at the meetings!
