Meet the Spinoffs!
We are a group of cyclists of all ages, sizes, body types, ethnicities, political persuasions, religions, sexual orientations, intellectual capacities, and abilities who cycle the trails and back roads of Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas for fun, health, and friendship. We welcome riders from the novice to the experienced. What brings us together is a desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, share friendship, and enjoy the outdoors by cycling.

Distance: 32 miles RT
Ride Type: out and back
Restrooms: Sometimes available at ball field in Fredericksburg and Millersburg (halfway point).

Note: Will cancel in case of rain.
Trail: Holmes County Trail, paved.
Starting Point: 240 W Water Street, Ball field Parking Lot adjacent to the school, Fredericksburg, OH
Ride Description: Today’s 32 mile ride takes us on a wide paved trail through Amish country. The trail is shared with horses and buggies, push scooters, electric bikes and hikers.
We will start in Fredericksburg by the ballfields on Water Street and head southwest through Holmesville then Millersburg and on to Killbuck where the trail ends and we turn around.
This is a flat trail and our speed will average 11-13 mph. Water and restrooms are limited so plan accordingly. Please bring an adequate supply of water and any food or snacks you wish to consume on the ride.HELMETS REQUIRED!

Ride Name: Cleveland Clinic to Hudson/Judson
Distance: 21 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate. Recreational speeds of 11-13 mph.
Ride type: Out and back.
Restrooms: at starting point in Cle Clinic Wellness Center and along route.

Trail: Bike & Hike. (paved)
Starting Point: Akron General Health & Wellness Center, 4300 Allen Rd., Stow. Get off Route 8 at Steels Corner Road. Make a left onto Allen Road at the stop light and then another left into the parking lot. Park in back near the trail.
Ride Description: Paved trail, flat with some rolling hills. We head north and then east on the Bike & Hike. A quick re-group at the trail split just before the steep hill down. We pass through a tunnel under Rte. 91 followed by a stop at the Young Road trailhead for restroom break. The Portage Franklin Connector trail will take us to our turnaround point at the Hudson/Judson trailhead. One large hill on our return ride.

- Vanderhoof to Butterbridge, Towpath/Muskingum Loop - 20 miles RTVanderhoof Road Trailhead, New Franklin, OH
Ride Name: Vanderhoof to Butterbridge, Towpath/Muskingum Loop
Distance: 20 miles round trip
Rating: Beginner. Recreational speed of 11-13 mph.
Ride Type: Loop ride
Restrooms: At starting point and along the route.

Starting point: Vanderhoof trailhead, 2445 Vanderhoof Rd, New Franklin, OH
Ride Description: We head south from the Vanderhoof trailhead passing through Canal Fulton and Lock 4. Our turnaround point will be the Butterbridge Trailhead where we cross over the river and return on the Olde Muskingum Trail for a total of 20 miles. Both trails are flat.

Ride Name: Tannery Park to Freedom Trail
Distance: 22 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate, recreational speeds 11-13 mph.
Ride Type: out and back
Restrooms: Porta potties and a nicer restroom at Lions Park in Tallmadge.

Starting Point: Tannery Park, 100 Stow Rd., Kent
Trail: Portage Bike and Hike and Freedom Trail, paved trails.
Ride Description: Our ride heads west along a short section of the Portage Bike and Hike following the beautiful Cuyahoga River. At Middlebury road we climb a steep hill, cut through the parking lot of the new Middlebury trailhead and then down a switchback to the Freedom Trail. We follow the Freedom Trail passing Lions Park and then crossing several roads that connect to Tallmadge Circle. Our turn around point is a parking lot on the University of Akron campus.
