Sushi, Sake and Beyond Event Organizers Needed!

Hello Sushi Fans,

Now that the holiday season is winding down, it?s time to build up the 2011 Sushi, Sake and Beyond calendar. My goal is to have 1 or 2 events per month at restaurants all over the Triangle. To do this I need some help, and I would like some volunteers to serve as Event Organizers.

The requirements for being an Event Organizer are pretty minimal. Just schedule a at least of one (1) event over the next six months. Hopefully you will schedule more.

Setting up an event is straight forward and usually takes less than 5 minutes. Our focus is on restaurants which serve ethnic food. Sushi is our favorite but, as our name says, we love to go ?beyond? to other regions. We have been to restaurants serving food from Afganistan, all parts of India, different countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and so on.

Special Request from Me: Over the years we have not been really great at scheduling events in Durham and Chapel Hill so I am hoping that I get a couple EO?s out there. There seems to be plenty of demand for events, but supply is a bit thin because most of the EO?s seem to live in Cary and Raleigh. So if you live out in the Western Triangle, please really think about becoming an EO, it?s easy and it would help make us an even better Meetup group.

If you are interested in becoming an Event Organizer, or have questions about the role, please respond to the e-mail to let me know.

For more details, read this summary of the EO role I posted to the site: Link
