Hi all,

Another great opportunity to celebrate innovation and achievement in
our communities, please feel free to pass on to your members!

As many of you will be aware over the last months JAX took nominations
for the JAX Innovation Awards 2012.  These awards recognise and reward
the people, companies and technologies offering the most value in
terms of innovation and positive input to the Java Ecosystem.

The panel of judges (disclaimer: Including myself and a few other
leaders on this list) has whittled down the nominations to a final
shortlist of 5 in each category.  Now it's back over to you in the
communities to vote for those you feel most worthy of winning!

The final five in each category (in no particular order) are….

Most Innovative Java Technology:

* Apache Hadoop
* Clojure
* Headway's Restructure101 v2.0
* Jenkins
* LiveRebel

Most Innovation Java Company:

* Gradleware
* JetBrains
* JFrog
* OpenGamma
* ZeroTurnaround

Top Java Ambassador:

* Adam Bien
* Antonio Goncalve
* Bruno Souza
* Mike Milinkovich
* Stephen Colebourne

The community voting has opened and we want your input.  Voting will
close on July 10th at 9am Pacific time, with the award ceremony taking
place the same day during JAXconf.

Congratulations to all those who were nominated and those who have
made it through to the final stage.

Big thanks to all who nominated, the judges for their hard work, and
