He has written patents in areas as diverse as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, material science, organic chemistry, and photovoltaics.

Erika Kikuchi is an attorney in King & Spalding’s Silicon Valley Corporate Practice Group in Palo Alto. She works with companies in all stages of development in various industries, and has significant experience in a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including representing issuers and investors in numerous venture capital and strategic financings, restructurings, debt financings, corporate governance matters, buy and sell-side M&A and IPOs. Above all, she truly enjoys the practice of law, getting to know clients and working together to achieve success.

Ms. Kikuchi has been named as a Northern California Rising Stars in Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers magazine. Ms. Kikuchi earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, with honors in the Intellectual Property and International Law concentrations. She received a Master of Arts in International Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) from the University of Michigan. Ms. Kikuchi is also an IFBB professional bodybuilder (women’s physique division) and has a passion for running races (mountain trail and road, all distances) as well as her two pet parrots.
