Talking to Strangers #21

Hello everyone,

The time has come to schedule Talking to Strangers #21, which will take place from 7pm on Thursday 24th October, once again hosted by Rebecca, Phil and James from https://www.thinkingbob.co.uk/ and me.

This month, we're heading to The Sheaf (the pub formerly known as the Wheatsheaf) at 24 Southwark Street near London Bridge Station, an underground pub in the vaults beneath the beautiful Hop Exchange. As a south east London resident, I think it's a timely trip south of the river, even if only by a couple of hundred metres.

We'll be once again all be joining small groups of new people, and I'll have been working in advance to think up some interesting things to talk about, which will be ready on the tables as conversation topics if you want them.

As always, everyone is there to talk to someone new so there's no reason to feel self-conscious about coming alone - in fact it's better that way. We'll also be moving around at several points in the evening, to keep conversation fresh. As usual, there's a small charge of £4 each.
