The Tampa Bay Ukulele Society

FOURTH FRIDAY JAM, 1 -3 pm at the Dade City Hugh Embry Library.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early -- 12:30-ish -- to socialize.

All level players welcomed. Music will be projected on a big screen. If you have a song to share we’re always happy to try a new song.

Bring your Ukes, singing voices and join the fun at the newly renovated Hugh Embry Library in Dade City.

South Tampa Ukulele Jam is now every 4th Saturday! The jam rotates at times but having it on the 4th Saturday allows most dates to be at Jan Platt Regional Library! We will announce each month where to head! Arrive early for seating and social time! We start the Jam at 1 PM and ends by 3 PM.

Tampa Bay Ukulele Society (TBUS) Hosts an Introduction to Playing Ukulele for Teens and Adults

Beginners will learn about ukuleles...the different sizes, how to hold, tune, strum, and play a few chords. We will then strum and sing a group of easy 2 to 5 chord songs to reinforce the chord changes and build new player skills. After an intro to ukuleles for new players we will teach new chords as they are included in our songs.

If you have a ukulele please bring it. TBUS will have a limited number of ukuleles available at the workshop. (subject to availability).

TBUS will give you information on other TBUS events, and online resources. You will meet other ukulele enthusiasts.
