What we're about
Upcoming events (5+)
Welcoming our MUM Summer Library Program Graduates and other youngsters wanting to give the Ukulele a try for a Ukulele Jam. We will play songs we learned during the Summer MUM Workshops and more easy songs using 2 to 4 chords. We will review the chords we learned last summer (mostly C, F & G7 if you want to brush up) and teach these chords to any new participants. We may even learn a new chord or two while strumming and singing together. Bring your ukulele if you have one. We will also have a limited number of loaner ukuleles to use for the event. The chords and lyrics will be projected on the screen for all to see. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun and play along or just sing with us. Adult members of TBUS - especially our MUM Volunteers - are welcome to join us if you love playing our sometimes silly song selections that are chosen to appeal to our younger players. Bring your children or grandchildren to share the fun of Making Ukulele Music.
