Ukulele Open Mic at the Whistle Stop Grill

Ukulele Open Mic at the Whistle Stop Grill will take place Thursday, December 19th from 7-10 PM (we change the date in December due to Christmas). The Whistle Stop is a casual, family-friendly place with outdoor dining and a full menu. Here is a link to their website: http://www.whistlestopgrill.com/.

Be sure to sign up for the open mic when you arrive and have a few songs prepared. Players of all levels are welcome to perform in this supportive environment and I'll have my u-bass handy in case anyone would like some accompaniment. We'll end with an unplugged jam session, so be sure to bring your uke and "The Daily Ukulele" songbooks* even if you don't plan on participating in the open mic.

Please don't forget to support our host venue by ordering something off the menu which features a great selection of drinks, appetizers and ice cream.

*The Daily Ukulele books are not required and folks usually don't mind sharing, but if you'd like a copy you can order them online from Flea Market Music or pick one up at Sam Ash.
