Lil Rev is on his way!

As you know acclaimed folk artist/teacher/ukulele master Lil Rev is on his way to Florida. I thought I'd go over the events he will be presenting while he is here so everyone will have a chance to see him:

January 4th & 5th: Lil Rev will be presenting his acclaimed show "Jews n' Blues" at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center. His shows were sold out last year so and may become an annual event. I'll be backing him on upright bass and uke for these performances. You can learn more here:

January 7th: Lil Rev will be presenting his "Jug Band Ukulele" workshop and concert exclusively to TBUS members. You've already received invitations, but here's a link where you can see the details and RSVP:

January 8th: Lil Rev will be presenting a house concert and uke workshop at "Floridaloha" in Nokomis Beach (Sarasota County). This will be a great opportunity for our members who live south of the Tampa Bay area to see Lil Rev. Here's a link with more info:

January 11th: Before heading over the other coast for a house concert, Lil Rev will be presenting a free ukulele beginner's workshop at Sam Ash Music in Clearwater from 7-8pm . If you or a friend are brand new to the ukulele or are considering taking it up, this would be a great event to attend. A limited number of loaner ukuleles will be available.

At all of these events, Lil Rev will have copies of his latest (and in my opinion best) CD "The Happiest Way To Be Sad" as well as his new ukulele poetry book and copies of his many popular instructional books and DVD's. I hope you can make it out to one (or more) of these events and show your support for Lil Rev, a great artist who has done so much for the ukulele community.
