Program: The Department of Labor has issued new proposed rules greatly expanding the overtime obligations for white-collar exempt employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The final rules are expected to be released in July 2016, with an effective date sometime after final release. Is your business ready? Do you know which of your exempt employees will be impacted? Brigid Heid, attorney at Carlisle Patchen Murphy, will help explain the new rules and discuss the impact on your business. You will learn which white collar exempt employees are impacted and how to develop a plan for your business to comply with the new rules and avoid expensive fines and penalties.

Speaker: Brigid Heid is a partner at Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP where she chairs the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group and oversees Hiring for the firm.
