Hiking - Forrestal & Portuguese Bend Trails

This hike will be approx. 6 to 7 miles and includes many hills with expected total "cumulative" elevation gains to exceed 1,500+ feet.

Start time for the hike is 8am. 8:01am catches our back side. ;-)~

Expected hiking time, with a couple of stops for picture taking and snacks & water breaks is between 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the group.

Please bring water (chilled or with ice) for drinking, hat and sun glasses for sun protection and snacks for yourself or to share among the group.

There are some fairly steep sections, so good hiking shoes are a must and hiking poles might come in handy!

BTW ~ If you have a smartphone, apps such as MapMyHike or RunKeeper may be helpful to keep track of the path we take during the hike.
