The Monthly Pint Club

For September's Pint we'll travel a little south to Union 32. So named because MN was the 32nd state to join the Union. But you knew that cause they teach that stuff in school here, along with ice fishing.

They have 32 MN made beers on their beer wall, where you can buy beer by the oz. That makes it easy to try different beers. Variety is good. For even more variety, they have a full bar.

And they have food. And a parking lot. And I'll be there. What else do you need?

Clocktoberfest is Broken Clock's version of Oktoberfest. I'll get there around 7:30. There is music. The band should be Pop Rocks. Cover is $10 there or $5 in advance. You can get advance tickets here:

This could be my favorite local Oktoberfest. And since I don't like to drink alone, I'm making it a meetup. Start about 2, and go until I fall down. Or they close. Or I get kicked out. Whichever comes first.

Cost is $10. They have live music, dance, games, stein holding contests, German food and great Oktoberfest beers–all under a big tent over Waldmann’s beautiful and historic outdoor biergarten! Lore, Lagers and Lotsa Lederhosen!

Tables are communal. I'll try to hold an area when I get there. If you get there before me and have a table, or part of a table, let me know.
