November's pint will be at Under Pressure in Golden Valley (near 55 and 169, not far from New Bohemia). This will be the last Pint that Gary hosts before he heads to warmer weather for the winter. John U will carry on for Dec through March. Gary will be back in April.
Under Pressure distinguishes itself as "blendery" which means they mix beers together to create new tastes. They have 27 beers on tap and 46 blends. A wide range of styles including unusual "beers" like butterbeer and apple ale. Samplers of 4 to 8 are available.
They've got a medieval knight theme going on which is kinda cool and different from the usual brewery which is just vats and tables.
We will be in "the library". This is the area just inside to the left. A clue you're in the right place would be the books.
From 7-9 will be Friends Trivia. You can compete or just sit in judgement of others when they get it wrong. I prefer the latter since this is Minnesota.
The food truck is Signature. https://signatureonwheels.com/ "Gluten Free that Doesn't Taste Gluten Free" they say. Whatever. Gluten is good. We've been eating it for 10,000 years and we made it to 9 billion people on the planet, so it can't be that bad. I might bring some wheat to chew on.
Also, and maybe more importantly, we get happy hour pricing all night with name tags. As I recall that means some beers are at a discount. But if there was a discount, that would mean I drank more, which would mean you can't trust my memory.
