Please mark your calendars and join us for the Briar Patch XC Mountain Bike Race at Briar Chapel on Sunday, June 19, 2011. Briar Patch is part of the TORC Summer XC race series featuring Huck-A-Buck, Race at the Reactor, and Tarwheel.

Categories are: Cat 1 (Expert), Cat 2 (Sport), Cat 3 (Beginner), Juniors 15-18 (High School), Juniors 11-14 (Middle School), Clydesdale and Single Speed. Age Groups for Cat 1, Cat 2 racers are: 19-39, 40-49, and 50+. Cat 3 age groups are: 19-39 and 40+.

Registration opens at 8:00 AM.

First race begins at 9:00 AM for Juniors, Cat 2 Women, Clydesdale, Cat 3 Men, Cat 3 Women.

Elementary school race is at 10:00AM.

Last race begins at 11:00 AM for Cat 1 Men, Cat 1 Women, Single Speed, and Cat 2 Men.

Entry Fees:

Adults - $25.00
Juniors - $10.00
Elementary School - Free

There will be opportunities to save some money by volunteering.

Preregistration via TORC's Meetup site is encouraged
