Week view: Departure on Thursday afternoon, arrival on Wednesday 3am early morning.
Accommodation & meals: Included. Camping, standard lodge on a trek, hotel in Addis Ababa.

Day 1 - Arrival at Addis Ababa and city sightseeing.

Day 2 - Addis - Sankaber.
Domestic flight to Gondar, drive to Debark. Start trekking along the cliffs. First impressive views over the dramatic mountain range.
Day 3 - trek to Gich (trek 2-3 hrs, horse ride 3-4hrs)
At Sankaber will pack up the gear and meet mule men before commencing the trek to Gich. Traverse along the escarpment before dropping down to get the views. From here we will ascend through terraced farmland to the village of Gich and walk through to the camp.

Day 4 - trek to Chenek (trek 3-4 hrs, horse ride 4-5 hrs)
The longest but the most beautiful day. We will trek to the camp along the whole escarpment, bounded by a semi circular ring of cliffs via the astonishing view points at the peaks of Imetgogo ( 3926 masl) and Inatye (4070 masl). This is also where we will try to spot the endemic mammals of the park after some tea & coffee in the afternoon.

Day 5 – Mt. Bwahit – 4,430 masl (optional: 5-6 hrs trek to summit or horse ride the plateau)
We will slowly climb up to the 2nd highest peak in the Simien called Mt. Bwahit and walk back to the camp have lunch and then relax for some time around with stunning views right from the camp, finally drive back to the Gondar.

Day 6 - fly back to Addis and home.
