After all the holiday hoopla, our January Meetup offers a more cozy, peaceful vibe.
First, we'll take a brief tour of our Meetup website. Almost all of us at one time or another have longed to get together in between Meetups and bounce ideas around, get a reality check on a reading, or just chat.
Our site is designed for that, as well as connecting with some of our amazing long-distance members. And with just a little practice, it can be very user-friendly and fun! Yes, even for the most techno-phobic!
Optional: Bring your portable device and follow along (as long as the Wi-Fi is working!), and put the power of Meetup to work for you!
But that's not the whole evening (unless you want it to be).
Long, long ago in a far away place (Panera Bread, Oh! Brian's, etc.), we used to actually spend a good portion of the evening giving each other practice readings. I keep hoping we can carve out the time but with all our recent programs and presentations, it hasn't really worked out.
Let's remedy that this month!
It's time to revive our practice readings (https://www.meetup.com/triangletarot/messages/boards/thread/2086763#14439940)!
Be sure to bring your favorite deck(s), and let's buddy-up together - in pairs and teams. It's a great way to learn, practice, and get friendly feedback. I will have some structure for you, if you need it, of if you just want insight on your own questions, that's fine too. Either way, I know this is a fun, low-risk way to grow, experiment, even test-drive a new deck. And it will certainly enrich our Tarot friendships!
As always: Be sure to bring your new books, decks, or other Tarot items for show-and-tell, tales of your latest Tarot adventures, and other topics you might want to discuss!
Last but not least: If you are going to order one of Bocci's delicious dinners, please give yourself (and the restaurant staff!) at least 45 minutes, before we start at 7. We don't want our beloved cards dunked in marinara!
Join us for a brand new year, as we learn, laugh, and go deeper!
