Let's try out some Afghan cuisine at the Unaabi Grill in Cary. They have five dishes in the vegetarian section of their menu, and some vegetarian appetizers. Their menu is available at http://www.unaabi.com/dinner.php.

For those avoiding eggs/dairy: I have been told by one of the waitresses that the entree items and the turnover appetizers contain no dairy or eggs (for the turnover appetizers, those avoiding dairy would need to ask them to leave out the yogurt sauce). However, the salad comes with a dairy-based dressing, so make sure to tell your server if you don't want that.

As usual, please consider your RSVP carefully, and provide at least 24 hours' notice if you can't make it. We want to give restaurants a good impression of the veg community, and don't want to have a lot of no-shows. Thanks, and I hope to see you there!
