Blessings of Golden Light - Activation Circle!

BEGIN THE NEW YEAR WITH GOLDEN LIGHT! :)

You are invited to join us for a very special evening. We will rhythm, journey, and offer up a beautiful reading of the Sutra of Sublime Golden Light. A powerful and gorgeous Tibetan Buddhist text, the Sutra overflows with poetic imagery, magic, and blessings.

The Sutra itself manifested as a golden drum in the dream vision of a Bodhisattva (one who has pledged to work ceaselessly for the benefit of all beings). From this dream drum came flowing great verses of aspiration and dedication, such as:

“By the sound of this majestic drum [of golden light],

May the ignorance of the world be dispelled.

With fears quelled, just as vanquishing sages are unafraid

May sentient beings become fearless and brave!"

Reading the Sutra together in a group is very joyful, energetic, and inspiring. As we read,we raise energy, and then we send these blessings and prayers out into the world. :)

Lama Zopa Rinpoche, a great teacher much like His Holiness the Dalai Lama, says that reading this Sutra has the power to stop war, heal environmental destruction, and prevent natural disasters. He encourages everyone to read it often in this time of great change.

Each month, people around the world the Sutra of Golden Light, and so our gathering will flow directly into this great stream of blessings currently flowing around the earth!

Please bring your drum, rattle, singing voice, bells, singing bowls, or other percussion iinstruments to stir up some energy for Mother Earth and her mountains, oceans, rivers, animals, plants, and people.

NOTE: You do not need to be a Buddhist to read the Sutra. It is available to anyone with a curious and open heart. :)

Alyson has shared this Sutra with a variety of groups, and so far, experiences have been similar--an uplift of inspired, fiery, flowing heart energy received and reflected from participants going out into the world!
