Who will like to start early and hike up along the Phoneline Trail to the top of Sabino Tram road to meet up with the Sabino Stroll 6pm group. We have 2 hours to get to Stop #9 so this isn't a stroll but a nice workout to burn calories before that beer at Risky's. Then head down the road to meetup with the 7pm group at the 2 mile marker.

***Revised Information***

Distance: 9.6 miles

Time: About 3 hours, 2 hours to get to Stop #9 and 1+ hours to get back to the Ramada

Elevation Gain: About 700+ft.

Don't forget to wear durable hiking shoes, bring plenty of water (at least 1.5 liters) and a Flashlight.

We will have two groups now:

Dana will leave promptly at 5:00 PM, if you are running late post a message or give me a call at[masked] and we will try to wait otherwise you may have to catch up or go with Teri's group. I move at a medium pace and I like to stop and look at the scenery, you are more than welcome to move ahead if you want.

Teri's group will leave at 5:30 PM and they will be trying to catch up with the 5:00 PM group, this is a fast paced group and if you are not sure you can keep up come at 5:00 PM and test your pace first, then you will know for next time.

The Phoneline trail is a fairly easy hike with little elevation gain. However, we are doing it in the dark which makes it a bit more challenging. We will stop to hang out with or wait for the 6 PM Sabino Stroll group. Then enjoy some food and drinks at Risky Business later.

Hope to see you all on the trail.

Look out for more chances to join the Friday Night Phoneline because I'll only post it once a month. All the other times join Bill or Me at 6 PM to take that nice short stroll up Sabino Canyon Tram road.

To add to my girl Dana's comment. I like everyone to enjoy themselves but since we're on a time crunch think this (especially my group) as a "Fitness Hike" Like she said we'll stop at Big Rock for photo moments then off to meet the 7pm Stroll Group. Hope to see you all there!

Please make sure to update your RSVP's if you will not be attending. Since it is such a long hike for this time of the day we will be moving as fast as we can to get to the top of the Tram road and meet up with the 6 PM group. Our goal is to get to the Tram road by about 7:15. Both my group and Teri's group will leave promptly so please plan on being a few minutes early or you may have to catch up. We will hike until we get to the big rock, where we can take a short break. My goal is to make it back to the visitor center by 8:15. That is about 20 minutes or less (depending on how many times we stop) per mile of hiking. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
