Shame an Experience

How many times have you used an app and thought, "wow, this experience totally sucks!". Well, now's your chance to get revenge!

In this meetup, we ask our attendees to bring an app experience that completely annoys you to no end. You know. That one app that makes you want to pull your hair out and go, "Why couldn't you just do THIS?!!??"

We will first do an overview discussion of each app brought to the table. Then we will pick the worst of the worst and separate into groups to dive deeper into those problematic user flows. Each person will take a turn in explaining what it is about the user flow in the app that drives them nuts. As each person goes, everyone else in the group will quickly sketch out a solution to the user flow, and explain their concept and what they improved on. This technique will allow attendees to get a grasp of how quick thinking combined with personal intuition can vastly improve the overall user experience.
