June MELT in the summer, in the city

We are meeting up at MELT in Lakewood, at 8 pm.

We always have a great time at Melt. If you haven't yet been, their specialty is comfort food served in a fun atmosphere. They offer veg and vegan versions of many of their sandwiches.

Melt has switched to Daiya vegan cheese so it melts all gooey and yummy.

FYI, MELT adds an automatic 20% gratuity to each check for parties over 6.

Getting a reservation at Melt is impossible, so it's very nice of them to understand that we all want to sit together and not have to stand around for an hour or two waiting for a table, which is the norm there.

Due to the seating capacity of the place, they can only guarantee 18 seats together. However, the owner and manager have agreed to do their best to seat more if room is available. So if you miss the reservation cut-off, come on down anyway.

If you bring a non-veg guest, spouse, etc, please have them refrain from ordering meat. Not everyone wants to see or smell it and, after all, it is a veg meetup.

PLEASE refrain from using heavy fragrances. They aggravate asthma and can trigger migraines.

And, as ever, please feel free to suggest other meetup venues and activities. Just about any reason to get together with like-minded folks for vegan food and hanging out will do. We all seem to enjoy each other's company, so more is better! Anyone can now suggest a meetup on the site, and that feature is easy to navigate, so have at it.
