Meet other local, fanatic rec volleyball players, those who play in sand and/or indoor courts. All are welcome! Will soon update with a listing of weekly locations to play in DC and Maryland.
So far have locations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings. Am interested in starting up a regular Sunday night sand volleyball meetup/play at 7:15 PM, located on the TWO sand courts adjacent to the Olney Swim Center in Montgomery County. Courts have lights until 11 PM and are free.
Please respond to indicate level of interest. Also, if members indicate how far they will travel to play, I can try to find local locations for all to play near your homes. I personally tend to play more in Maryland but also in Alexandria, Crystal City and on the Mall courts. Don't know of many courts in NE DC or PG County. Clue me in, please.
I know of sand courts at University of Maryland, Olney Swim Center, Glen Ora Park & College Gardens in Rockville, the courts near Potomac and Kennedy Center.......oh,& the Crystal City courts that are sand on top of concrete. If any members know of additional courts WITH nets up, please email me and let me know. I will add to my database of listings.
