Endeavour Middle School is hosting Astronomy Night!

Ask an Astronomer: Several members of the Warren Astronomical Society (http://www.warrenastro.org/was/), and three volunteer NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors (https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/ssa/home.cfm) will answer your questions about space and astronomy.
Lectures at 7:00 PM: There will be several short astronomy and space talks, that will repeat every 20 minutes - so you can see all of them!
Telescope Viewing of Jupiter and the Moon at 8:30 PM: Members of the Warren Astronomical Society will have several telescopes on site, where you can see craters and mountains on the Moon, and Jupiter and its moons! (Weather permitting.)

Astronomy Software: Library computers will be running hands-on astronomy and space visualization software for you to use! Most of the software is free and can be downloaded for use on your home PC!

• Stellarium (http://www.stellarium.org/)—See the night sky from the Earth.
• Worldwide Telescope (http://www.worldwidetelescope.org/)—Virtual telescope for your PC, with access to data from multiple all-sky surveys.
• Universe Sandbox (http://universesandbox.com/)—Create your own solar system! Lob an asteroid at the Earth. Simulate colliding galaxies! Simulate climate.

Astronomy Videos: Library computers will be showing images from current space missions, and stunning imagery from space!
Walk the Solar System: See how far apart objects in space really are! Learn about the Sun. planets, asteroids, comets and more!
Space Images: The school hallway will be filled with images of space.
Hold a meteorite! Handle a remnant from the formation of the solar system!
Raffle: Tickets: $1. You do not need to be present to win.
