Thank you all for coming. It is hard to believe that our first conference was just two years ago. We have grown so rapidly with now about 450 people to cater for this year. We plan to make a final venue move this year to Sandown Racecourse following feedback from this year. Its huge exhibition hall will allow exhibitors and catering to be in one place and, for us to separate exhibitors and lectures for the first time. As you can imagine, catering for so many people is a massive challenge, and we will be developing more simple, nourishing meals like stews and hot-pots that can be provided in greater quantities. The larger venue also has space for food vendors so hopefully we can have private hog roasts, etc. adjacent to the exhibition areas. Our major challenge is how to integrate workshops given that it is massively popular and can only have a limited number of people, but I have some ideas and the new venue has flexible spaces that will allow repetition of workshops over the weekend.

I'm really glad I made the effort to come down. Met some great people and learnt a lot - although I'm looking forward to the DVD so I can go over the tricky stuff. Thanks Phil

A superb information-filled day of learning. Great venue and really nice food, and I bought a lot of fantastic stuff that I am really happy with from the exhibitors.

Hi Eleana! Since I'm far from beeing local, I'll need every possible advice. I'm from Croatia and will be in UK for the first time. :) Do you have an e-mail where I could ask you some practical questions?

Super, can't wait! The more I learn about WAPF and traditional diets, the more I'm stoked. Makes so much sense and it'll be wonderful being in the thick of it, so to speak, with more seasoned enthusiasts. Just bought the video from this year's conference from Amazon for delivery tomorrow. So glad I found this!!!

Hi Jacqueline. Great news that you are coming, but tickets are not ready yet for a couple of weeks. I will send out an e-mail when they are online.

What is this about? What are we going to do here?

Hi Lorna. Babies are welcome, and if it all gets too much, we do plan to have pay-as-you go childminders.

Wow this looks good, I might need to bring the baby?? I'm relieved to be able to drive and park. Very glad it's a saturday too.

Thank you all for the encouragement. This one certainly promises to be many times better than the last two, with a far better venue, many times improved program and a fantastic large hall for exhibition and catering together. We also have a variable delegate rate negotiated, which may let the event be two days.
