The Chicago Beer Runners
"Taking cool down to a new level"

Looking for fun, social runners interested in meeting other fellow runners? Join us for biweekly runs followed by a cold beverage or three. All abilities from beginner to experienced welcome. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at Southport Lanes at the intersection of Southport and Henderson in Lakeview, hit the road around 6:30 and meet back at the bar to celebrate our run and "hydrate." We leave our bags at the bar, so be sure to bring a change of clothes to warm up or cool down, depending on the weather. We meet year-round and have a lot of fun whether it's 85 and sunny or 18 and snowing. Beer Runners don't stop. And we meet throughout the year for races and parties, too. Join the fun!
