Chicago Beer Runners

Beer Runners meets at ROCKS North Center on Monday nights. We meet at the bar, start the run at 6:35pm, and then meet back at the bar by about 7:10pm to eat, drink, and be merry!

Feel free to extend or cut short the run as you see fit. We don't have set pace groups or apply pressure to run faster/slower, run what you're comfortable with and meet us back at the bar!

A beginner friendly out and back loop, running out via Lincoln to Montrose, Montrose to Horner Park, one big loop at Horner Park, and then backtrack on Montrose to Lincoln. More likely to be crowded.
2 | "The Old Route" (3.08 miles) https://onthegomap.com/s/3hghcrgq
A less crowded route with longer straightaways, but more stoplight crossings. Can be easily modified to run North on Ashland instead of Paulina, and/or West on Wilson instead of Leland. Trade offs being better lighting but more traffic, +/- 0.1 mile on the quoted distance.

As we transition out of the COVID-19 pandemic, please comply with any ROCKS' house rules posted by the front door.

Beer Runners meets at Lincoln Station in Lincoln Park/Lakeview on Wednesday nights. We meet at the bar, start the run at 6:35pm, and then meet back at the bar by about 7:10pm to eat, drink, and be merry!

You can find us pre and post run inside, walk past the bar and turn left, we're usually in the side room. (the one with the pool tables) If you need to drop a backpack or bag, ask the bartender, they usually let us stash things in a closet.

Our Fall/Winter route. Is what it says on the tin, a large rectangle North on Sheffield, West on School, South on Southport, and back East on Wrightwood.

Our Spring / Summer / Daylight permitting route. We run out to North Pond and then run two laps around the pond, then backtracking to the bar. Also includes a water fountain.
