Last night I said that the Google Analytics code should be placed in the footer, but I misremembered. It should actually be in the header, which is what Google recommends and where the Google Analytics for WordPress plugin places it.

You should put synchronous JavaScript in the footer, but the Google Analytics JavaScript is asynchronous, so it won't delay the loading of your pages.

We had several first-time visitors tonight, eager to learn about WordPress. I'm glad we could welcome them to the group, give advice, and point them towards valuable resources.

Chad put together an impressive presentation... but more importantly, he was very receptive to questions, and showed us how to resolve problems. Quite a good instructor.

I won't have time to create a formal presentation, but I'll gladly give an overview, short demo, and field questions.

If you have any questions you'd like addressed, please post them here!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
