Write Wellington - Mix n Mingle

Greetings fellow writers.

To the best of my knowledge there are already two groups that have formed through Write Wellington. There is possibly room for others to join these or establish their own ‘focused’ writers group.

Tonight's meetup is a chance to mix and mingle with others bearing the peculiar condition we call ‘writer’. This is not a sit down, hash it out critique meeting but rather a chance to network with similarly afflicted individuals, trade stories and aspirations, and perhaps cherry pick people for current or fledgling writing groups of all ilks.
In the short term, rather than trying to act as an organiser of new clusters of writers. I see this meetup group acting as a nexus for writers wanting to form their own groups, so meetups will be geared more toward gatherings where you can socialise.
Come along, knock back a tasty beverage, meet interesting new people and have some fun. Everyone is welcome whether part of an existing group or new members looking to meet other writers.
