Brunch at Bahari Resturant in Astoria

Hi Gentlemen,

Our last Queens Brunch went so well I wanted to make it a monthly event.

And am open to suggestions form other members for future ones.

I had suggested Cavo, and I was told they served lunch but when I went to make a reservation they said they only do parties during the day. So, I am sorry there had to be a change.

I quickly went on line and found another great Greek Restaurant - Bahari which on the Village Voice 10 best Greek restaurants in New York was listed as one of the runners up to the #1 spot.

The menu looks great and it seems more affordable than Cavo.

Look at the whole menu it is really very affordable you can get half a chicken seasoned and roasted to perfection with a side order for only $9!!!!

There are a lot of great dishes on the second page of the roasted meats section.

One of my hopes for this group not to only bring Men over 50 together but to use this as a tool for men who live near each other to be able to meet where they live and get to know each other.

Having moved to Queens from Manhattan, I only had one friend out here in Queens now after our last brunch I met a whole group of men from Queens.
