🔹 About Mindfulness Meditation 🔹
Although originating from Buddhism, mindfulness meditation is taught today as a simple, secular, evidence-based practice for your brain. With over 4,000 journal-published articles on its many wellness and performance related benefits, mindfulness is quickly gaining traction in corporations, hospitals, schools, and professional sports.
Mindfulness is an intentionally focused awareness—a way of paying attention on purpose in the present moment non-judgmentally. While this notion may seem simple, tending to the constant activity of the mind for a few brief minutes can yield powerful and even surprising insights. Operating mindfully —in the moment an event occurs—enhances the ability to both identify and minimize sources of stress while enhancing competencies that build resiliency.
