Hi All,

Its that time of the year where we take a break from the usual geekery and Software Freedom Day planning and pat ourselves on the back for a successful year of Linux and Open Source.

So its back to the Prince of Wales (POW) Pub in little India for our Annual Christmas event, where there will be tons of food, great Aussie Micro Brew beer and live music. Note that the POW allows us to use the venue for free as long as you purchase drinks from them.

Happy Hour is till 7pm. In addition, PoW now has a kitchen by Bergs and we are given a 10% discount. Main meals range from $8.20 to $16.50 (breaky burger to steak, salad & chips).

For the late night party rockers, there is a live band called "One Degree North" starting at 10pm till late night.

ONE DEGREE NORTH One Degree North plays the hottest rock and roll, blues, and contemporary music in Singapore. They cover music of all styles and are known for their ability to get the crowd up and dancing. Their guitar and bass driven rock music is exciting and their three part vocal harmonies just sweeten the deal! So come down to the Prince of Wales and check out one of the biggest nights on the PoW calender!
