State of the Word: What's happening in WordPress for 2020?

Since Angela and Ron will be in St. Louis on November 4, our normal Meetup time will be canceled. Instead, we are creating a combined Meetup with the general Boulder WordPress Meetup on November 18 to do a WordCamp US Roundup.

We will talk about what we learned, the sessions that inspired us, and review the "State of the Word" the talk that Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress gives every year about the future of the WordPress open source project.

Angela will break down the various legal entities beyond WordPress and its creation and the emerging movement in the WordPress community for governance of WordPress.
