Lost in Translation @ the Showroom

This summer, the Showroom is presenting a mini season celebrating the work of director Sofia Coppola. Opening with a new 4K restoration of her debut feature film, The Virgin Suicides, "Summer of Sofia" returns Coppola’s first five films to the big screen including anniversary screenings of Lost in Translation and The Bling Ring, and revivals of cult classics Marie Antoinette and Somewhere.

Synopsis: Conflicted newlywed Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) meets lonely, aging movie star Bob Harris (Bill Murray) in Tokyo. As two disillusioned strangers in a foreign land, the two find escape, distraction and understanding amidst the bright Tokyo lights together and form an unlikely bond.

Adult tickets are £10, but they're £9 if you're a member of the Showroom, £7.50 if you're a claimant or over 60, and £4.50 if you're a member of CINE26.
