What we’re about
This group is primarily for mature singles living in the Kitchener/Waterloo area of Ontario, who are interested in meeting other like minded adults at various locations in a friendly environment conducive to conversation and making new friends. Join us, if you want to expand your social circle of friends while enjoying various activities including dancing, dining, walking/hiking, cards, art and culture activities etc. While this group is primarily for people who are single, anyone may join the group and attend our events as we do not discriminate.
IMPORTANT
For the security of all our members, you MUST use your real name and have a clear, recent facial photograph of yourself in order to join and remain in good standing. REMEMBER, if you delete a photo from your main profile, it will be removed from any of your groups you used it in. It is your responsibility to ensure your profile meets the security requirements of this group, otherwise you might be removed without warning.
Dues
Yearly fees are paid by the organizer to Meetup.com headquarters in the United States. Members will be invited to contribute $5 to cover these costs.
Acknowledgement and Waiver of Liability
When signing up for any event (the “Event”) by clicking on the “Attend” button, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms set out below.
By participating in the Event, each participant:
• · Acknowledges that Mature Singles Social Group is a voluntary, not for profit, online social group organized through MeetUp.com that carries no insurance, is unincorporated and has no assets;
• · Acknowledges that the Event has risks associated with it, including the risk of injury, and voluntarily accepts those risks;
• · Expressly waives any claim against any person involved in organizing or running the Event (an “Organizer” or "Host"); and
• · Agrees that by participating in the Event, they will not pursue any claims against the Mature Singles Social Group or any Organizer/Host relating in any way to the Event.
