Extra Slice: Meet Author Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan!

Details
Update 4/23: Exciting news! Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan has agreed to speak with our book club intimately, a little prior to her reading of "A Tiger in the Kitchen" on May 20th. Please arrive early so that we won't miss this great opportunity to be up close and personal with the author!
As a great companion to our May 15th discussion of Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan's A Tiger in the Kitchen: A Memoir of Food and Family, join us for an exciting afternoon as we meet and listen to the author discuss her book. Tan’s memoir explores cooking and the roots of her childhood as she ponders the classic Singaporean dishes of her grandmothers’ and aunt’s kitchens, and makes discoveries about herself, her family, and their recipes for food and life.
