About us

180° South – Social Psychonauts & Explorers is active throughout Belgium, we gather to enrich and uplift the human experience through exploration, learning opportunities, meaningful conversations, creative work, and genuine human connection.

We believe that personal and collective wellbeing are interconnected. We trust that by cultivating and caring for our own wellbeing, we can reconnect with a sense of regulation and agency, enabling us to contribute more positively and effectively to the communities and environments we are part of.

Some of the activities we enjoy include:
• Philosophy Café
• New Skills Practice
• Art Exhibition
• Lecture Night
• Book club
• Movie & Documentary Night
• Creative Workshop
• Field Trip
This list is not exhaustive.

We invest time and effort in creating opportunities for the collective good rather than remaining isolated.

We advocate for trauma-informed awareness and recognize the importance of psychological safety, mutual respect, courtesy, a sense of trust, and personal responsibility.

We believe in inspiration rather than extraction, connection rather than intrusion, dialogue rather than domination, and participation rather than exploitation.

We see meaningful transformation as cultural, cognitive, and relational—a vast endeavor that is already underway.

While this group explores the inner and relational dimensions of human experience, its sibling group, 180° South – Urban & Outdoor Adventurers, explores the outer world through hikes, urban walks, outdoor adventures, and discovery.

Feel free to join both communities.

If you feel like organizing an event, please reach out.

Welcome.
