For the past 12 years, a group of friends and strangers from all over have traveled to Boone, NC to escape from the summer heat for an annual camping trip at the Boone KOA Campground the third weekend in July.
The original hosts have retired. We appreciate their efforts and will take the torch starting this year with the 13th annual.
The Boone-KOA is a full service campground with tent, cabin and RV options available. Downtown Boone and Blowing Rock are very close to the campground. For those who really want to rough it, there are many great hotel options to choose from! 😜
NOTE: All reservations are managed by the event hosts. Once lodging is assigned, participants will call the campground directly to submit a one night deposit.
