I thought it would be fun to read a bunch of books from the same year to get a variety of perspectives on what it was like to live at that time.
Going back 100 years sets an easy landmark - in 2024 we read books from 1924 and in the new year we will read books from 1925.Looking for adventurous readers up for a challenge! The goal is to have fun, stimulating discussions about the books. All curious readers are welcome!
I have selected the first set of books but I hope to democratize the process once we start to gain momentum. You can find a tentative book list for this year and next on the group's message board.
