The view, the trees, the underbrush

Very few San Franciscans know about Golden Gate Heights Park, which is fine as it means we race around without having to dodge picnickers and frisbee tossers. It's a topnotch place for our favorite sport, as it's got flat areas, hills, and lots of cover.

We'll begin by reviewing the principles of the game, then debate which variant forms to adopt, then play for a few hours. Those who want to go off to dinner together can choose between West Portal, Taraval, and Irving, all of which can be reached on foot.

Be prepared for breezes, sprints, and some flag waving.
