Developing Windows Store Apps with C#/XAML and JS/HTML5 with Ramon Guerrero
Details
When Microsoft demoed Windows 8 in June of 2011, the industry was in shock when they informed everyone that the applications that were running in the demo were built with JavaScript/HTML5. Microsoft soon set everyone at ease when they announced that not only can you write Windows 8 applications in JavaScript/HTML5, you can also write them in C#/XAML, C++/XAML ,and VB/XAML. Whether you’re a current generation C#/XAML guy, a traditional JavaScript/HTML5 web developer, or an old-school C++ guru, you can now develop in the language and technology of your choice on the new Windows 8 platform. Ramon will demonstrate how to develop applications in C#/XAML and JavaScript/HTML5, and will go over the similarities between the Windows Runtime and Windows Library for JavaScript.
