What we’re about

The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20 & 30-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be a nice person and actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP! Nothing spoils things quite like having 20 people RSVP then being the only one at the cow-milking meet-up (if that's your thing). Looking forward to meeting you all, whether you're a new-grad east-coast transfer or a seasoned SF veteran.

Hey guys, for those of you who have gotten to know me know that I'm a big anime geek. This event is the 6th anniversary party for AniClover at DNA Lounge. These parties involve a lot of cosplay and anime soundtracks from well known DJs.

The actual event itself starts at 7:30p and is an 18+ event.

You can get your tickets HERE. There are early bird tickets but tickets rise in pretty big increments so I suggest getting your ticket early if you're set on attending (although there are no refunds!!).

Cosplay is accepted and supported but I personally will probably just be in some anime swag but not in cosplay. Feel free to dress up though!

I was thinking we could gather at Butter across the street (it'll probably have a $5 cover). Butter is super fun and has some stiff drinks for us to pregame with. At around 9:45p we could make our way across the street and into DNA Lounge. *The event will only run until 1am and you're welcome to enter sooner and find us inside. I'll personally be coming from a work event so I may be running a little late but will let you all know what I'm wearing prior to arriving.

Hey guys,

On Tuesday, September 23, the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is teaming up with the Giants and Visa to hold their annual Strike Out Hunger event. There will be tables outside and inside of the stadium where fans can donate to the Food Bank and pick up awesome swag!

Not sure how the Giants will be playing around late Sept but it's always fun to attend a game and wander around a bit! The Giants will be facing off against the St. Louis Cardinals for the middle game of a small 3 game series. The game kicks off at 6:45p but I'm not really sure I've ever arrived to a baseball game for the 1st pitch. I was thinking we could gather nearby for a happy hour drink or 2 and then make our way to the stadium around 7p. If you'd like to go a little earlier to catch the opening ceremony you're welcome to.

Overall we've been invited to attend this awesome event to help support the local food bank. I will need to purchase tickets in bulk via the food bank associates link. With that said, we'll have to do a little coordinating in advance so I can collect the $15 from serious attendees. I'll probably pick up a few extra tickets just for last second decision makers but don't count on that being an option! There are bleacher tickets available ~ it's $15 and $5 goes back to the food bank. You can Venmo me @Arthur-Bahr (last 4 are 2466) or you can message me personally to coordinate payment if you'd like.

Remember to wear layers! Even if the afternoon is beautiful in SF, the fog rolls into the stadium pretty heavy in the evening. Freezing at a baseball game is no bueno!
