What we’re about
The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20 & 30-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be a nice person and actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP! Nothing spoils things quite like having 20 people RSVP then being the only one at the cow-milking meet-up (if that's your thing). Looking forward to meeting you all, whether you're a new-grad east-coast transfer or a seasoned SF veteran.

I'll bring a chest full of beer, some wines, and some other fun drinks for people to enjoy.
We'll have corn hole, Jenga, spike ball, volleyball, and plenty of other fun games going on throughout the day.
This particular event is always a blast and is simply a massive picnic potluck at Golden Gate Park. Please bring some food to share with the group!
I'll also bring out a large speaker and put together a special playlist to blast to the sound of making new friends.

I know it's a little last second, but we've had some successful turnouts with this event the past few months. Essentially, we'll have a mixer with drink specials for a few hours prior to heading to a popular club for some dancing. Going to a nightclub alone is intimidating! But going in a large group of fun people is much more enjoyable.

*What you get - Happy hour & drink specials while partaking in a fun mixer. Free entry & minimal wait to get into Temple Nightclub.This will be slightly different than we've one in the past. We'll be kicking things off at Madarae which is a lounge located in SoMa SF. We'll have happy hour specials for the group and around 10:30p we'll be walking over to Temple to enjoy an evening of dancing.
Temple is one of the hottest nightclubs in the city and has hosted countless famous DJs and celebrities throughout the years.
We'll hangout and get to know each other at Madarae while enjoying some exclusive happy hour + drink specials. I'll also have some games for us to play while we warmup to each other.
Drink Specials:
TBDAround 10:30pm we'll gather our #s and prepare to head to Temple. We'll ensure everyone gets into Temple and once inside, you're free to continue hanging with the group or do as you please.
Parking is a little tricky in the area but not impossible. I do recommend public transit or taxi.

Arthur - Beginners Bartending Course - Tasting & Cocktail MakingThriller Social Club, San Francisco, CA
Hey guys, we're back at it and have secured our 1st bartending course of 2025. Space is very limited as always. This particular event is limited to 11 participants.
In the past I've hosted several bartending courses. Each class was approximately 10 hours and ran over 3 days. While super immersive and informative; this time around I'm going to keep the class a bit shorter and to the point.
The class itself will run about 3 hours and include tastings, making actual cocktails, and tons of tips and tricks in regard to casual bartending.
The location of the class is Thriller Arcade Bar. We'll be occupying the back 2nd floor bar which is the themed bar. We'll have the bar to ourselves for the duration of the class.
We'll also have the opportunity to get behind an actual bar and make drinks for our fellow classmates.
The class will begin by reviewing an informative PPT before we dive into some tastings and finish the class with making 3 actual cocktails. Every student will get to leave with a printout of tips and tricks for hosting a party as well as an "Raise the Bahr Certified" certificate at the end of the course to show their newfound skills...
I myself have been bartending for over 10 years and have worked at beverage catering companies, festivals, neighborhood bars, and currently do private home bartending under the name of "Raise the Bahr".
We'll kick the class off with a Q&A and introduction to bartending at which time students can ask questions as we go over a PPT reviewing the basics. This will also include some tastings as well as tips, tricks, and facts to impress your friends.
The class will move quick but I hope to get everyone involved and walking away content with their new knowledge.
