Exploration of the San Mateo Asian Foodie Festival

Details
Hey guys, found this event online and thought it would be prettyfun to go and checkout.
This will be a social stroll around the San Mateo Event Center as we please our taste buds with some outstanding Asian cuisine. I imagine there will be a number of different food stalls boasting an array of delicious grub, but this will be my first time attending the festival myself. I'm looking forward to checking it out with everyone and having a great Sunday to chill and relax in this awesome Bay weather we've been having.
Schedule:
We will kick things off and meet at KAIZEN & COFFEE. From here we can grab some coffee and easily walk a few blocks to the Event Center. Kaizen is also conveniently located just up the street from the Hillsdale Caltrain station for anyone who wants to ride in from SF or the South Bay.
At about 11a we'll make our way over to the Event Center for the main event.
We can checkout the festival for a few hours and fill our bellies as we watch some entertaining performances. Afterwards, we'll have the option to hangout a little longer and wash down all the amazing food with some pints at The Swingin' Door which is a fun little pub just down the street from the Event Center.
People are welcome to come and go as they please (it's a very unformal event) but please note that it may be very very difficult to locate us once we're inside the Event Center. I'll be leading the event but I usually don't check my meetup messages often as I'm going for my own enjoyment as well.
About the Event:
Join us for a flavorful experience at the San Mateo County Event Center! Immerse yourself in a celebration of Asian culture through food, performances, and exhibits. Taste a variety of authentic Asian dishes, watch traditional dances, and browse through unique crafts. This in-person event promises to be a feast for the senses. Don't miss out on this opportunity to indulge in all things Asian!
Parking:
Parking fee is $18 if paid by credit card or $20 in cash per vehicle, charged by the venue, with no in-and-out privileges. ADA parking is available. Since we're walking over essentially (or maybe ideally), we may be able to park our cars off-site. I'm not super familiar with the surrounding areas and their parking restrictions. It'll be a game-day decision!
Tickets:
There are door tickets available or you can prepay HERE.
The venue recommends that tickets be purchased online in advance, as only a limited number of tickets will be available on-site.
Hope to see you there!
Arthur
