City of Trees Parade + Mardi Gras Fest 2026
Details
The biggest Mardi Gras parade in California is back for its FIFTH family friendly year. The City of Trees Parade is a dazzling showcase of Sacramento’s rich diversity and culture! Last year’s event included more than 1,300 performers from 55 different groups, and this year’s event will be even bigger!!
Grab a ticket and come join us around the Capitol and through old Sac for this big celebration. I got mine for around 16 dollars today! IT IS WORTH IT.
From their website:
3PM-5PM Live performances at the festival grounds
5PM-6:30PM THE CITY OF TREES PARADE ROLLS
6:30PM Special live performance to be announced!
7:00PM Parade floats return and the dance party starts!
"There will be live performances, interactive exhibits, food trucks, local vendors, and a beverage garden to wet your whistle and help us raise funds for this non-profit event. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and you’ll be able to watch our fantastic parade as it rolls past the festival toward tower bridge, culminating in Sacramento’s only evening-time parade, featuring light-up art cars from Burning Man! From 7 to 9 PM you'll be able to see all of these light up art cars in all their glory, parked right inside the festival grounds."
We went last year and has an amazing time! You should definitely come join us.
