ABOUT THE EVENT

Paint your own Mug or Plate and sip with friends. All from your comfort of your home! Trained instructors will be there to guide us through. They will explain how the paints work, answer questions, and give a tour of their studio and kiln room.

We can design our piece using any of our supplies, pour our own paints, and start painting away. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. The instructor will walk us through the whole process.

This is an ideal event for birthdays, bridal parties, family gatherings, and more!

How It Works :

The instructor will go through an introduction and the painting process.

Then we paint!

During the session the instructor can demonstrate painting techniques and answer questions at any point.

Later in the session our instructor will give a tour of the kiln room and walk everyone through the firing process.

After the formal session, we will socialize one on one in a breakout room. So that everyone meets everyone.

What to Do After the Party

Once the party is over, the pottery will need to be returned to our office for firing.

This can can be done either by dropping off the pottery in-person or by shipping it.

Once the pottery is dropped off, we will give you a pick up date to let you know when you can return for the finished master pieces!

Zoom link will be sent day off the event.

Paint kit including brushes and 4 paint colors.

Optional: $30 Delivery fee for DC or Northern Virginia or Montgomery and PG counties. Delivery fee may increase if outside of these locations.

Refund & Ticket Resell Policy

A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time.

However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a message letting us know the full name of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.

ABOUT THE VENUE (taken from The Eater; June 4, 2019)

It is an old railway station-inspired venue for late-night comfort foods, seafood, and cocktails.

It imports some of the best-selling dishes across the prolific restaurant group’s regional portfolio of nine other brands — Sweetwater Tavern, Carlyle, and Mike’s “American” grill, for starters — into a cavernous 300-seat dining room.

The steak frites and French dip from Jackson’s appear on the menu at Patsy’s along with the Maine lobster roll from Coastal Flats. There are also barbecue baby back ribs from Sweetwater.

It offers three sizes of mixed seafood plates: a platter, a tower, and a triple decker. Norton reports that oyster shooters with Tito’s Vodka have been a surprise best seller.

Norton thinks there’s enough drinking demand in Tysons Corner to justify its 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. hours. Beyond the main dining room, a back 150-seat bar and patio also welcomes patrons for after-hours dining and drinking. Along with 40 beers on tap, an Old Fashioned recipe from Carlyle is also an early hit.

The kitchen is trying to keep up with demand for its new buttermilk fried chicken sandwich at lunch.

The fried poultry, which also makes it way onto the Charleston Salad with spiced pecans, is part of a late-night menu that kicks off at 11 p.m. with a pared-down selection of burgers and starters like spinach and artichoke dip.

It is named after Norton’s mother, the matriarch of the 45-year-old Northern Virginia restaurant group that also includes Artie’s, Ozzie’s, and Silverado. The menu honors her signature desserts with hot fudge sundaes and warm bread pudding. Patsy’s father’s flag is on the wall from when he served in Army.

While the decor is mostly built of kitsch — there are Terracotta warriors sporting Bart Simpson and Shrek heads and an iconic painting of Seinfeld’s George Costanza in his underwear — one art piece stands out. Norton says the charcoal Picasso on the wall is an original.

The main dining room is anchored at one end by a classic station clock, alongside lots of green ironwork detailing. The mix of artwork also includes New York City street art Norton personally sourced, along with skate decks from Orin Swift’s wine bottle labels.

Norton says Patsy’s has attracted a “ton of regulars” and people who are unfamiliar with the group’s restaurants.

It was designed by Great American Restaurants, Street Sense, and Leon Chatelain, built by Forrester Construction.

Norton’s parents, Patsy and Randy Norton, started the decades-old restaurant group with a small pizzeria in Fairfax that’s since grown to a 14-business collection of Northern Virginia staples.

Expect coffered ceilings, green Mohair booths, and servers in black uniforms delivering wagyu steaks, branzino, and wines from an American-heavy list.

It is a unique and fun way to get to know the nation’s capital. We will glide around the streets in style on one of our state-of-the-art Segway PTs. We will have a short training session where they will teach us how to ride a Segway PT. And then it’s off to the streets! A very knowledgeable tour guide will lead us through the city on our Segway PT adventure! By riding on a Segway PT, we will be able to cover three times as much ground as walking! And unlike a bus tour of Washington, DC, it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and explore the history and architecture of DC at a leisurely pace.Tours now include top-of-the-line Vox headsets, so each participant gets their own earpiece to listen in to the commentary!
