Come hack on BTC / crypto trading and AI during a free, week-end long, friendly hackathon and learn the basics of machine learning using Keras and Python.

Who is this for

Crypto or/and AI enthusiasts with a little background in Python or any other programming language:

  • Students
  • Software engineers who wants to learn more about machine learning and keras
  • Financial and crypto professionals and enthusiasts who wants to learn more about artificial intelligence trading

Please note that we will require you to give us your real name when you register. We will have security onsite during the entire event, and you will not be able to enter unless your name is on the list. Don't forget to bring a valid ID.

When

The Hackathon starts on Friday, June 29th and Ends Sunday, July 1st, 11:59am.

Program

  • Friday 29th, 5:30pm: Beginning of Hackathon. Brief introduction to AI/ML and to the simple example script we provided to you
  • Sunday 10am: You will (if you want) present your AI
  • Sunday 11:59am: End of hackathon

The school will be open non stop from Friday 5:30pm to Sunday 11:59am, so yes, you can hack all night long :)

Even though it’s called a hackathon, this is a friendly, open event and environment during which everyone is expected to collaborate and help each other.

There will be a few Python programmers, AI specialists, Holberton students, and crypto specialists onsite on Saturday to help during the event.

Friday 29th:

  • 5:30pm: welcoming everyone
  • 5:45pm: overall presentation and rules of the hackathon
  • 6:00pm: what is AI
  • 6:15pm: Step by step explanation of the basic AI script*
  • 7:00pm: Install and configure your environment to start working
  • 7:45pm: Gogogo!
