Details

Don Giannatti was a featured instructor on Creative Live-www.creativelive.com

Don Giannatti was a featured instructor on Creative Live in 2012-www.creativelive.com. Don has been a commercial photographer and graphic designer for over 40 years. Starting out with photography as a hobby, he eventually had studios in LA, Chicago and NY. Specializing in people and still life, Don added design to capabilities and in 2000, his agency, OCEAN Integrated Media was the third largest advertising agency in Arizona.

He now shoots and designs for clients all over the US, and teaches a very successful photography workshop several times a year. Voted one of the “Top Workshop Instructors” in the world by the readers of Photo District News, he has also authored three books for Amherst Media and is currently writing a fictional book based on the life of a photographer.

Don’s writes on Photography and the business of creativity at the online magazine, Essentials for Photographers (www.essentials-for-photographers.com) and also leads an online photography course for emerging commercial shooters at Project 52 (www.project52.org). Occasionally he plays drums and keyboards and firmly believes that photography is jazz with a camera.

He lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Marian, daughters Shanna, Michaila and Alissa and two small, yappy dogs.
