Guest speaker Patrick Eleazar (http://www.linkedin.com/in/patrickeleazar/) will build on his presentation from September and step through the process of creating an Augmented Reality(AR) application that even newbies can follow and use to produce their own AR application. Patrick will also review details about software options, how to use them, and why use one over the other.

This is a meeting you will want to attend in person so that you can experience it live, follow along, and generate output on your own.

So what is Augmented Reality and why should you care? It’s the next big technological advancement since the “multimedia” revolution of the mid-90s. Do you remember the thrill? AR is all of that and more.

• Good Project Management & Teaming Practices: Ever wonder how successful project managers motivate a team to work collaboratively? What does it take to be a team player? Caprice will lead a discussion about best practices to employ, whether you are a project manager or member of a team.

• Come and Join Us!

We will meet at the Digital Media Center starting at 6:30 pm. Food, snacks and drink provided.
• First-time attendees and OCMMA members get in free.
• Students are $5.
• Non-members are $10.

OC Interactive is an official Adobe User Group, offering presentations on software that enables us to produce Interactive applications and experiences. This meeting is open to designers and developers of all skill levels, from beginning to advanced. Tips and techniques are demonstrated by OC Interactive members as well as outside speakers. Jeff Gomes and Caprice de Lorm are the Managers of OC Interactive.

OC Interactive generally meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month, with exceptions around holidays as agreed on by the group. The meeting fee for Orange County MultiMedia Association (http://www.ocmma.org/) non-members is $10 and $5 for students. REMINDER: We will be raffling off a 12 month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription each June and December. You must have attended at least 2 OC Interactive meetings since the previous raffle to be eligible. Earn raffle points at this OC Interactive meeting simply by attending. Earn additional points by presenting, sharing a project or tip. This raffle is held two times a year, usually in the months of June and December. *
