LUNADA - Literary event at Galeria de la Raza

The Spring season is thriving, the temperature is rising, and there’s a warm front approaching from the South with Galeria de la Raza's featured artists for the May Lunada, a monthly literary event. Lizz Huerta and V. Lazaro Zamora come from these visiting writers from San Diego and Los Angeles, bringing their poetry and fiction on the weekend of Carnaval. Bring your stories, poetry, and songs to Lunada’s Open Mic where first-timers and musicians are always welcome. There will be 10 slots of 5 minutes each.

Give yourself enough time for parking. Nearest BART is 24th Street and many MUNI lines run through the area.
